Nguyen Hai Yen (Red) is a Lang Son (Vietnam) based video artist and independent art producer whose practice focuses on multidisciplinary approaches that contribute to rethinking ‘dance’ in Vietnam, creating safe spaces for performance practices that don’t fit into existing systems, and encouraging artists to explore other possibilities of performance thinking and making. As an artist, she aims to use choreography/theatrical thinking to visualize personal landscapes and archive spiritual memories.
