Often cited as India’s first openly queer film, this anthology film is a poetic, DIY exploration of queer life in Bombay.

Riyad Vinci Wadia
Born into the pioneering Wadia Movietone family in India, Riyad Vinci Wadia was an independent filmmaker based in Bombay. He is remembered as a fearless and spirited individual; he was out as a gay man in the early 1990s when this identity could have put him at legal risk. Wadia passed away in 2003, but his influence is felt on the LGBTQ+ movement in India to date.
